Senior Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council is seeking a dynamic Senior Human Resources Officer to act as a strategic HR Business Partner. You will support a wide range of HR services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as HR Business Partner, handling enquiries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits and other core HR functions.
• Assist with compensation processes, including insurance renewals, pay trend reviews and promotion exercises.
• Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
• Guide supervisors in policy formulation, review and implementation.
• Provide leadership, coaching and capability‑building for the HR team.
• Prepare HR reports, analytics and system‑generated data for decision‑making.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent, preferably in a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant HR experience in sizable organisations.
• Broad exposure to compensation & benefits, performance management and employee relations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all employee levels.
• High integrity, service‑orientation and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HRIS platforms supporting core HR processes.
