Senior Java Backend Engineer – Asset & Earn

About the role

OKX is looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join the Asset & Earn Team 2. You will design and build high‑performance, highly available services that power Simple Earn, Flash Earn, loan products and stablecoin yield features for millions of crypto users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend micro‑services for Simple Earn, Flash Earn and loan products using Java, SpringBoot and SpringCloud.
• Build and maintain the Jumpstart subscription and token‑allocation system for new token launches.
• Implement backend systems for stablecoin yield distribution, settlement and risk controls.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Risk and Quant teams to deliver innovative earn and lending features.
• Participate in on‑call production support and incident response to ensure platform stability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of backend development experience in finance or related industries.
• Proficiency with AI‑assisted development tools such as Codex and Claude (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency control and distributed system design for high‑concurrency, high‑availability environments.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts related to earn, deposit, lending and yield products.
• Experience in at least one business domain: Earn & Loan or Stablecoin Yield.
