Senior Java Engineer – Trading Systems

About the role

Senior Java Engineer – Trading Systems. We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our core platform team and help shape the next generation of our order management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build robust, production‑grade services that power our trading and order lifecycle flows.
• Partner with product owners to turn business requirements into clean, maintainable solutions.
• Operate in a modern DevOps setup, taking ownership from development through to production release.
• Collaborate with the operations group to ensure smooth, low‑risk deployments.
• Help maintain system health by spotting and addressing performance bottlenecks early.

Required profile

• 7+ years developing enterprise‑grade applications in Java, with at least 5 years using the Spring ecosystem.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Proven delivery of stable, high‑availability services in demanding environments.
• Practical knowledge of the FIX protocol and its use in trading workflows.
• Experience contributing to or integrating with Order Management System (OMS) components.
• Strong background in messaging and event‑driven designs (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ or Kafka).
• Solid REST API development, including OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Clear understanding of automated testing practices within agile delivery.
