Senior Manager, Business Strategy

About the role

Prudential is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Strategy to own the business strategies and business planning for bancassurance and brokerage within its Partnership Distribution channel. The role needs a thorough understanding of the business and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and business partners to implement strategies that help the channel grow.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and design business strategies and drive innovative projects and programmes to capture untapped opportunities across customer segments and grow the partnership with a diversified portfolio.
• Assist in business plan formulation and work with business partners and internal stakeholders so initiatives are effective and aligned with their vision.
• Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships, design tactical cross-up-selling programmes and capture maturity proceeds using customer analytics.
• Assist in strategic planning for new business opportunities.

Required profile

• University graduate, preferably in a business discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in insurance, banking or financial services, including at least 3 years in a managerial role on product or business development.
• Knowledge of life insurance products and solid experience in life insurance product development.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; efficient use of MS applications and Chinese input.
