Senior Officer, Procurement

About the role

The Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Officer, Procurement to lead procurement activities for building works, maintenance and technology projects. You will work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure value‑for‑money outcomes while supporting the airport’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement requests for construction, maintenance and technology‑related categories.
• Execute RFQ and tendering processes, prepare purchase orders and contract awards in line with policies.
• Act as the primary procurement contact for user departments, offering timely advice.
• Support high‑value, complex procurement projects in collaboration with supervisors and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research, sourcing and commercial negotiations to achieve cost‑effective results.
• Assist with category and supplier management, including spend analysis and performance monitoring.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives to boost procurement efficiency.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or related fields.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience, preferably in a large organization.
• Familiarity with procurement, contracting and tendering for property, equipment and technology projects.
• Understanding of WTO/GPA tendering requirements is a plus.
• High integrity, team‑oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).

• Oracle Financial and Procurement Systems (ERP).
• Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
