Senior Product Developer – Global Apparel

About the role

Nike is seeking a senior product developer to lead the creation of global apparel products, from concept through commercialization. The role focuses on delivering innovative, high‑performance items that meet sustainability, profitability and consumer‑centric goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full product creation process for assigned models, ensuring on‑time delivery, adherence to specifications, sustainability, performance and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with Design, Brand, Category Management, Merchandising and Manufacturing to execute development goals and deliverables.
• Create and maintain product documentation, including specs and prototype notes.
• Track sampling and prototyping, identify construction challenges, and communicate progress throughout testing.
• Stay informed on market trends, new technologies and consumer needs, providing cost‑effective options for each project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant apparel development experience.
• Strong understanding of product make, finish, construction and the full product lifecycle.
• Proven leadership skills to unite stakeholders, solve problems and drive results.
• Ability to make decisions, influence cross‑functional teams and work in a highly inter‑dependent, multicultural environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, empathy‑driven leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Experience using CLO and AI design tools.
