Senior Project Manager (Cantonese Speaking)

About the role

Appnovation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who is fluent in Cantonese and English to lead multiple complex digital projects for clients in Hong Kong. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams from discovery through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage several concurrent projects, defining schedules, detailed plans, scope statements and status reports.
• Collaborate with strategists, developers, architects, product managers, designers and client representatives to shape project direction and requirements.
• Estimate and track costs, develop resource plans, manage budgets and monitor profitability, margins and utilisation.
• Produce project documentation such as statements of work, charters and risk assessments.
• Drive pre‑sales activities, including RFP responses and effort estimates.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and nurture long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience in a technical environment, handling large client‑facing teams and budgets.
• Strong leadership, planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Cantonese and English.
• Proven ability to work with SMEs to estimate costs and build detailed Gantt charts.
• Experience guiding teams through Agile, Waterfall and Scrum methodologies.
