About the role

As a Senior Security Officer at Island Shangri‑La, Hong Kong, you will lead the hotel’s security operations, ensuring the safety of guests, visitors, and staff while upholding the brand’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee access‑control procedures and conduct regular patrols throughout the property.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations in line with established safety protocols.
• Maintain overall hotel security, protecting assets and safeguarding the wellbeing of all occupants.
• Project a professional, efficient, and reassuring presence to guests, visitors, and employees.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably within the hotel industry.
• Fluent spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Holder of a valid Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating access‑control and surveillance equipment.
• Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures.
