Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance

About the role

Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance leads end‑to‑end execution of complex M&A and capital markets transactions across Asia Pacific, while actively originating new mandates and developing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of M&A, ECM and strategic advisory deals across APAC and globally.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring senior‑level engagement and high‑quality delivery.
• Manage all transaction workstreams: due diligence, financial analysis, structuring, documentation and negotiations.
• Coordinate cross‑border internal teams (Europe, LatAm, US) and oversee external advisors.
• Originate new corporate finance mandates with Chinese SOEs, POEs, financial sponsors and sovereign investors.
• Identify strategic opportunities such as cross‑border M&A, carve‑outs and capital raises.
• Lead deal teams, allocate responsibilities and control data‑room processes.

Required profile

• University graduate; MBA is a plus.
• 8‑10 years of M&A / corporate finance experience at a leading investment bank or advisory firm.
• Extensive cross‑border M&A exposure and experience with SOEs/POEs.
• Proven ability to lead transactions independently at advanced stages.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin and/or Spanish advantageous.
