Solutions Architect – Public Sector

About the role

Alibaba Cloud is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and present cloud solutions for public‑sector clients. You will work closely with C‑level and senior stakeholders to translate unique government requirements into robust Alibaba Cloud architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deliver solution architecture designs to senior personnel.
• Understand customer and partner requirements and propose appropriate Alibaba Cloud services.
• Assist customers and partners in migrating applications and databases to Alibaba Cloud platforms.
• Leverage the MaaS platform and large‑model services (Qwen, Wan, GPU instances, PAI, ECS, databases) to deliver AI‑enabled solutions.
• Develop demos and conduct testing of Alibaba Cloud services.
• Participate in marketing events such as Cloud Conference and Tech Week in Hong Kong.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture design and consulting.
• Strong background in IT, computer science or cloud computing with solid knowledge of networking, servers, storage and enterprise applications.
• Experience in the government or public‑sector industry.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese.
• Ability to work under pressure, learn quickly and think strategically.

• Alibaba Cloud services (MaaS, PAI, ECS, GPU instances, databases).
• Cloud architecture design and migration methodologies.
• Large language models (Qwen, Wan, Gemini, OpenAI, Claude).
• AI development frameworks/tools (Alibaba Cloud Bailian, Claude Code, LangChain, n8n, Dify, MCP, Skills).
• Networking, servers, storage systems, virtualization solutions.
