Supply Chain Development Regional Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Development Regional Manager is part of Maersk’s Global Supply Chain Development function, reporting to a regional head. The role focuses on winning logistics solution sales with Maersk’s largest customers through high‑impact engagement and thought leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pitch supply chain value propositions to key, strategic and enterprise clients.
• Drive growth of supply chain solution sales, primarily through new store and acquisition opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders—account managers, sales leaders, product managers—to secure commercial wins.
• Develop repeatable frameworks, toolkits and best‑practice sharing for scalable solution selling.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management and logistics, preferably in 3PL, consulting or a global corporation.
• Consultative sales experience with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and ability to influence decision‑makers in a matrix organization.
• Proven project‑management capability, including leading cross‑functional and remote teams.

Required skills

• Supply chain modelling and analysis.
• Supply chain optimization methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of international transportation, warehousing, distribution, e‑commerce and 4PL solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication, public speaking.
