Supply Chain Manager - Ocean Freight Consolidation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our Ocean Freight Consolidation function in Hong Kong. You will drive commercial and operational activities, ensuring on‑time, in‑full shipments while controlling freight costs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the ocean freight team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Use KPIs and exception dashboards to monitor daily operations, optimizing delivery performance and cost efficiency.
• Maintain and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for the team and service providers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align business requirements and targets.
• Build strong partnerships with logistics service providers, conduct regular business reviews and drive performance improvements.
• Provide market insights to support strategic decisions and enhance supply‑chain resilience.
• Participate in projects and broader initiatives beyond day‑to‑day operations.
• Prepare management reports and perform data analysis as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience managing international logistics and ocean freight operations.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar managerial role within a sizable organization.
• Experience in a logistics service provider, cargo owner, buying/sourcing office or retail environment is preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills in a cross‑functional, culturally diverse environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proficiency with IT tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
