Supply Chain Officer (Maternity Cover)

About the role

This temporary maternity‑cover position (August 2026 – January 2027) supports the end‑to‑end supply‑chain process from purchase‑order creation to shipment arrangement for internal customers. The officer acts as the main liaison with factories and freight forwarders to ensure on‑time, in‑full delivery of finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the designated freight forwarder to meet delivery timelines for overseas retail supply.
• Maintain high data integrity across systems for PO, item, and shipment details.
• Release inter‑company POs and negotiate optimal ex‑factory dates with suppliers.
• Authorize supplier shipment bookings in the freight‑management system.
• Conduct periodic on‑time delivery performance reviews with the Retail Supply team and suppliers.
• Assist with freight consolidation at origin and support customs clearance at destination.
• Work with the Hong Kong buying team on production lead‑times, MOQ, and multi‑delivery arrangements.
• Enter data manually and generate regular supply‑logistics performance reports.
• Manage pull‑in and push‑out production requests to ensure continuous supply across the international chain.

Required profile

• Diploma in Supply‑Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a buying‑office or similar environment.
• Proven experience handling PO management, factory liaison, and freight‑forwarder coordination.
• Strong understanding of international sea‑freight, inbound consolidation, and shipment documentation.
• Ability to work in a multicultural setting and communicate across buying, quality, retail, and logistics functions.
