Technical Officer – Site Supervision

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Officer to lead full‑time site supervision on construction projects, ensuring that all works are carried out in strict accordance with drawings, specifications and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with design drawings, specifications and approved procedures.
• Perform statutory supervisory duties from project start through to final certification.
• Oversee site safety, implementing client safety policies and meeting all legal safety obligations.
• Coordinate with design and construction teams to resolve any non‑conformities.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma, Higher Certificate or higher in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in trenchless or underground excavation works.
• Ability to work independently, meet project deadlines and demonstrate responsibility and self‑motivation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of trenchless and underground excavation techniques.
• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications and statutory regulations.
• Site safety supervision experience.
