Technical Support Engineer – Bloomberg Terminal (Cantonese/English)

About the role

Bloomberg is seeking a bilingual Technical Support Engineer to assist new and existing clients in Hong Kong. You will work closely with Sales and internal teams to ensure seamless connectivity to Bloomberg’s infrastructure and deliver high‑quality service to our financial market customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for Bloomberg Terminal software, hardware, and network connectivity issues.
• Coordinate installation of Bloomberg Terminals and maintain customers’ network connections.
• Engage with internal and external partners, including telecom providers and service vendors, to resolve service incidents.
• Proactively recommend and implement hardware and network infrastructure improvements.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of technical support experience for internal or external clients.
• Business‑level proficiency in English and Cantonese.
• Experience working in a high‑volume, multitasking environment.
• Ability to coordinate with several teams and adapt to occasional evening or weekend work.

Required skills

• Network technologies such as TCP/IP, UDP, RIP v2, BGP.
• Knowledge of PC hardware and operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
