Tenure‑Track Faculty Position in Operations Management

About the role

The Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology at CUHK Business School invites applications for a tenure‑track faculty position in Operations Management starting Fall 2027. Candidates at any professoriate rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) will join a vibrant department of over 40 scholars.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Operations Management, Business Analytics, Revenue Management, Service Operations, and Supply Chain Management.
• Develop a high‑quality research agenda and publish in leading academic journals.
• Contribute to departmental service, curriculum development, and academic community activities.
• Engage with industry partners and participate in conferences, including potential presentations at INFORMS.

Required profile

• PhD in Operations Management, Operations Research, or a closely related discipline (by start date).
• Demonstrated research competence with interests in business analytics, revenue management, service operations, or supply chain management.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence and academic service.
• For senior ranks, an outstanding record of research publications and teaching achievements.
