Underwriter, Casualty

About the role

Join AIG as an Underwriter, Casualty to manage a portfolio of casualty accounts, balance risk and customer experience, and contribute to the company’s transformation in risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned casualty portfolio, including major accounts, new and renewal submissions, and complex cases while adhering to underwriting guidelines.
• Promote AIG casualty products to international and local brokers and agencies, building strong relationships with distribution partners.
• Develop and manage business and analytic routines to drive production, meet targets profitably, and support senior managers.
• Conduct trainings, organize sales and marketing events, and handle ad‑hoc projects for casualty lines.

Required profile

• Knowledge of casualty products or general insurance industry is a plus.
• Experience with insurance market presence through brokers or agents is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and collaborative team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with PowerBI.
• Understanding of statistics or data management/interpretation.
