3D Designer

About the role

As a 3D Product Designer you will support the Hardgoods Digital Development team by coordinating CGI projects, managing 3D assets and providing basic modeling and product design assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Hardgoods Digital Development team.
• Liaise with cross‑functional teams to coordinate project schedules and ensure CGI milestones are met.
• Prepare presentation materials, internal and external correspondence, and consolidate reporting data.
• Handle ad‑hoc administrative and operational assignments as required.
• Manage and maintain 3D asset libraries and trackers to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in producing high‑quality renders, basic CAD models and CGI assets for internal presentations and visualisation.
• Translate product ideas into rapid visual assets and digital prototypes to support creative concepting.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Design, Product Design, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of administrative or coordination experience, preferably in a buying office, trading or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of 3D fundamentals and familiarity with 3D software such as SolidWorks, KeyShot or Blender.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
• Team player who is proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
