Barista – Specialty Coffee

About the role

Join the F&B Service team at Mandarin Oriental The Landmark in Hong Kong as a Barista. You will craft high‑quality coffee, tea and specialty beverages while delivering attentive, personalized service to our discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and specialty drinks according to The Communal standards.
• Perform milk texturing and create latte art using café equipment.
• Take orders, upsell items and process transactions on the POS system.
• Maintain consistent beverage quality, presentation and workstation cleanliness.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies and report equipment issues.
• Provide excellent customer service, resolve guest enquiries and support opening/closing duties.
• Follow hygiene, safety and food‑handling standards.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the department head.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of barista or hotel experience.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional F&B service.
• Presentable, service‑oriented with good supervision skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.
