Consultant/Senior Consultant – Post Merger Integration (Hong Kong)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its Post‑Merger Integration team in Hong Kong. You will work on end‑to‑end transformation projects, helping clients design and execute strategies that drive growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your work against project plans to ensure a superior client experience.
• Understand client businesses, monitor sector trends, and apply leading practices.
• Diagnose complex cross‑functional alignment issues, conduct analyses, and develop actionable solutions.
• Gather and interpret financial information to validate business cases and integration recommendations.
• Articulate strategic ideas and data‑backed recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Present findings using concise messaging supported by appropriate data and tools.
• Recognize technology as a business enabler and develop reusable toolkits for future engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of strategy consulting experience, with a track record of delivering complex, cross‑functional projects.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Deep industry knowledge and a solid understanding of how technology supports business objectives.
• Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
• Strong core consulting skills, including slide design, storytelling, analytics and financial modelling.
• Excellent strategic thinking, structured problem‑solving and communication abilities.
