Group CFO – Hong Kong Listed Company

About the role

The Group CFO will lead the financial strategy of a Hong Kong‑listed organisation with a strong international presence. This senior executive will shape the company’s growth trajectory and ensure robust financial governance across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies aligned with the company’s strategic agenda.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Lead corporate finance initiatives, including M&A transactions and capital structure decisions.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks and other financial institutions.
• Monitor cash flow, funding and investment strategies to maintain financial health.
• Provide strategic financial advice to support business decisions and long‑term planning.
• Supervise the accounting and finance team to ensure efficient operations.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect company assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s or MBA is an advantage.
• Qualified CPA (HKICPA, ACCA, AICPA, CPAA).
• 18–25 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in a Big 4 firm.
• Proven senior finance leadership in Hong Kong‑listed organisations, with experience in transactions and M&A.
• Strong executive‑level leadership and cross‑cultural team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; additional language skills are a plus.
