Guest Services Officer

About the role

The Guest Services Officer joins the Front Office team at Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, a luxury hotel in Hong Kong. You will deliver superior guest service throughout the stay, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand’s high standards and Asian‑inspired hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, escort them to their rooms, and manage smooth check‑in and check‑out processes.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, coordinating with Concierge, Housekeeping, Reservations and Room Service.
• Assist with up‑selling initiatives, express check‑out, and recording guest preferences.
• Allocate rooms in line with guest requests and hotel policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to maintain seamless operations.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Strong service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to use Chinese word‑processing software.
