Kitchen Commis (Level 3) – Full‑time

About the role

Join Marriott International as a Kitchen Commis (Level 3) and support the culinary team in delivering high‑quality dishes. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on preparing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, including cold dishes.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Test food for proper doneness and monitor quality throughout preparation.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, tools and equipment.
• Ensure appliance and food temperatures are correct and follow all safety and security policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Food preparation (portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, mixing).
• Operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
