Mechanical & Pumping Supervisor

About the role

The Mechanical & Pumping Supervisor will lead the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and plant within the hotel’s Engineering department. Reporting to the Building Services Engineer, you will ensure safe, reliable operation of all plant rooms and related systems while supporting a high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Fire, Life, Health, Safety, and Security (FLHSS) standards.
• Perform emergency response duties as part of the hotel’s response team.
• Execute scheduled maintenance according to the hotel’s plan.
• Ensure plant, plant rooms, equipment and work areas remain in safe, operational condition.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Mechanical & Pumping Technicians.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant certification (e.g., plumbing license, welding license).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in luxury hotels or club houses.
• Ability to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
• Strong written communication skills in English and Chinese.
