Duty Engineer (Hotel)

About the role

Panda Hotel, a leading hospitality brand in Hong Kong, is seeking a dedicated Duty Engineer to oversee the performance and maintenance of its mechanical and electrical (E&M) systems. The role involves supervising technical staff, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring continuous operation of critical plant equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Check and monitor performance of all hotel E&M equipment.
• Supervise the operation of chiller and boiler plants.
• Distribute work orders, delegate tasks to technicians, and track progress.
• Coordinate maintenance and project works with internal departments and external contractors.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Holder of a Grade A Electrical Worker Registration Certificate.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• Grade A Electrical Worker certification.
• Operation and maintenance of chiller and boiler plant systems.
• Experience with hotel‑wide E&M equipment maintenance.
