Multimedia Producer – Research & Digital Content

About the role

Our Research Department creates independent, actionable insights for global investors. The Digital Content Team brings these insights to life through dynamic video and audio storytelling. We are looking for a motivated Multimedia Producer to design and deliver high‑quality video, podcast, and multimedia features that enhance the impact of our research.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and produce brand‑aligned video and podcast content for equity research, forums and related projects.
• Film content onsite at the Hong Kong office and remotely via Zoom.
• Guide analysts to present naturally and professionally on camera.
• Edit videos using strong storytelling techniques and graphic elements.
• Integrate chart animation and data visualisations to explain market trends and financial concepts.
• Record and edit podcast audio, ensuring clear sound quality and smooth pacing.
• Lead end‑to‑end event production, including content planning, vendor coordination, onsite filming and post‑production management.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve production quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree or higher in digital media, broadcasting, visual communications or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in multimedia editing and production.
• Good understanding of financial products, market analysis and investment terminology; experience in financial services is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Creative problem‑solving ability and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects or similar software.
• Expertise in chart animation and data visualisation techniques.
• Scripting, planning and directing content.
• Hands‑on experience with cameras, webcams, audio equipment, lighting and green‑screen setups.
