Project Engineer – Chemical Formulation

About the role

We are seeking a creative and ambitious Project Engineer to lead chemical formulation projects for new and existing product programs. The role will drive compound development, qualification and implementation while collaborating with QA, sourcing and regulatory teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage compound formulation development and qualification for product programs.
• Conduct material research and evaluate alternative ingredients to improve performance, cost and supply flexibility.
• Support supplier qualification and onboarding for raw materials and vendors.
• Coordinate formulation testing, stability validation, pilot runs and technical documentation.
• Work with QA, sourcing, regulatory and manufacturing partners to approve formulas.
• Manage formulation changes, dual‑sourcing and localized raw material implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in chemical formulation, compound development or related materials engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with formulation qualification, material testing, pilot runs or scale‑up.
• Solid understanding of raw material properties, stability validation and qualification processes.
• Experience collaborating with QA, sourcing, regulatory and vendor teams.
