Project Manager – Construction Technology

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end rollout of integrated digital construction solutions across residential and commercial building projects in Hong Kong. The role involves deploying hardware such as sensors, cameras and wearables, implementing software platforms like BIM viewers and safety tracking apps, and delivering comprehensive training to site engineers, planners and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the deployment of hardware and software solutions on live construction sites, ensuring compliance with Hong Kong building regulations and industry standards (CIC BIM, ISO 19650).
• Act as the primary liaison between technology teams and construction operations to drive adoption, monitor productivity gains and resolve issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs for engineers, planners, administrative staff and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and report performance metrics using data‑analysis tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on digital transformation, BIM coordination or construction technology implementation.
• Proven track record of managing hardware‑software rollouts on high‑rise residential or commercial projects in Hong Kong or similar regulatory environments.
• Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• BIM platforms: Revit, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360.
• Construction data environments (CDEs) and IoT integration.
• Industrial protocols: MQTT, Modbus; edge computing and video stream processing.
• Data analysis tools: Power BI, Tableau.
• Basic scripting: Python, SQL.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS; containerised deployments.
