Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will join the Procurement Shared Services team at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will drive improvements in the procurement system, ensure robust controls, and support sustainability purchasing for the flagship hotel and its sister property.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate sourcing, tendering, evaluation and supplier selection in line with company policies.
• Prepare, review and administer procurement contracts, agreements and related documentation.
• Lead price negotiations, contract renewals and commercial discussions with suppliers.
• Enhance operational efficiency of the procurement department and maintain effective control mechanisms.
• Assist the Director of Procurement with sustainability‑focused purchasing initiatives for both hotels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, contract administration and supplier management.
• Ability to improve processes, implement controls and support sustainability objectives.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
