About the role
Join EY's Assurance practice in Hong Kong as a Senior/Staff Accountant, supporting external audit engagements for a diverse client base. You will contribute technical expertise, supervise junior team members, and help shape audit strategies while developing your professional skills in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements.
- Execute complex audit procedures and ensure compliance with Quality & Risk Management guidelines.
- Prepare reports, schedules, and documentation for client review.
- Maintain productive relationships with client personnel and internal EY teams.
- Coach, supervise, and provide performance feedback to junior staff.
- Identify and escalate risks and issues as appropriate.
Required profile
- Relevant accounting or finance degree.
- Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Experience in external audit or assurance engagements.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with senior stakeholders.
