Solution Architect

About the role

The Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver cohesive technical solutions that support the strategic enterprise IT landscape of Hong Kong International Airport. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that solutions align with both long‑term strategic goals and short‑term operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business, functional, non‑functional, integration and cybersecurity requirements into optimal technical designs.
• Bridge communications between IT and business to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
• Drive enterprise architecture and roadmap definition, including standards, policies, reference architectures and target‑state blueprints.
• Analyze the current IT environment, identify deficiencies and recommend improvement solutions.
• Stay abreast of technology trends and assess their impact on the company’s architecture landscape.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in solution architecture.
• Professional TOGAF certification is preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups and drive technical alignment.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.

Required skills

• TOGAF (architecture framework) knowledge.
• Design and integration of enterprise‑grade infrastructure components: Compute & Virtualization, Storage & Resiliency.
• Enterprise Applications Integration platforms, Identify & Core Services, End‑to‑End Integration.
• Agile Architecture and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project‑management software tools.
