Security Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Security Manager will lead the hotel’s Security Department, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and assets while supporting smooth operations for daily activities and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Security in planning, organising and supervising security staff.
• Prepare duty rosters, manage leave requests and plan manpower for VIP functions and large events.
• Attend relevant meetings and communicate critical information to shift supervisors.
• Oversee incident, accident, E‑log and maintenance reporting in line with established formats.
• Deliver security training to department members and other hotel teams.
• Maintain crime awareness and protect hotel assets through regular patrols and monitoring.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Security Management with a valid Security Personnel Permit and driving licence.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role within the hotel or security industry.
• Strong risk‑assessment abilities and independent operational decision‑making.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
