Geographical Cluster Security & Business Continuity Manager, North Asia

About the role

Join Maersk as the Geographical Cluster Security & Business Continuity Manager for North Asia, based in Hong Kong. You will act as a trusted advisor and functional leader, driving risk‑informed decision‑making, incident and crisis response, and strengthening security and resilience capabilities across the cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security, business continuity, and crisis management advisory for the cluster, influencing regional and global stakeholders.
• Implement Maersk’s Global Security & Business Resilience framework and establish priorities based on threat and operational profiles.
• Coordinate local incident and crisis response, conduct threat and vulnerability assessments, and drive theft, loss prevention, and cargo security initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans, conduct BIA, testing, and resilience performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as C‑TPAT, TAPA, and AEO, and oversee security audits and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security risk management, incident management, or operational resilience in complex, multi‑site environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior business leaders.
• Hands‑on, adaptable leader comfortable in fast‑paced, matrixed multinational settings.
• Fluency in English and ability to communicate in relevant local languages.

Required skills

• Knowledge of security frameworks such as C‑TPAT, TAPA, and AEO.
• Experience with threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
• Capability to develop Business Impact Analyses and Business Continuity Plans.
