Senior Global Compliance & Reporting Accountant – Financial Services (HK Tax)

About the role

Ernst & Young is seeking a Senior Global Compliance & Reporting Accountant to support its Financial Services tax practice in Hong Kong. You will contribute to business tax compliance and advisory engagements for multinational institutions, corporations and funds.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation and review of income tax returns for financial services clients.
• Calculate estimated tax liabilities and assist clients in meeting payment obligations.
• Support tax advisory projects and ensure deliverables meet Quality & Risk Management standards.
• Prepare reports and schedules for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and internal teams across service lines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field (advanced degrees a plus).
• Relevant corporate tax experience in the financial industry or a public accounting firm.
• Professional accountancy qualification or progress toward one.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
