Cook – Full‑time at Marriott Pacific Place

About the role

Join Marriott International at Pacific Place as a Cook, responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced hotel kitchen. You will work closely with the culinary team to ensure every plate meets the brand’s standards for taste, presentation, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients: portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
• Cook and assemble dishes, including hot and cold items, while monitoring temperature and quality.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation, tools, knives and kitchen surfaces.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and company policies; report any hazards or incidents.
• Assist with set‑up and break‑down of the work station and ensure proper portioning and presentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift objects up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
