Director of Corporate Communications & Public Relations (HK & TW)

About the role

The Director of Corporate Communications & Public Relations will lead the development and execution of communication strategies across Hong Kong and Taiwan. Reporting to senior leadership, the role safeguards brand reputation, drives stakeholder engagement and represents the business in regulatory and trade forums.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate and activate third‑party voices such as NGOs, government and advocacy groups to support brand positioning.
• Monitor socio‑political and cultural trends in Hong Kong and Taiwan, advising on proactive risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Provide strategic counsel on corporate reputation, brand recovery and narrative shaping to internal stakeholders.
• Oversee integration of content across PR, social and influencer channels, aligning with brand campaigns and commercial goals.
• Lead media relations, digital/social campaigns and internal communications, ensuring consistency with regional sensitivities.
• Develop and implement the overall corporate communications strategy, set targets and measure performance.
• Translate complex regulatory language into clear messaging for diverse audiences.
• Manage external PR agency selection, engagement and performance where required.
• Execute strategic storytelling initiatives to articulate vision, brand propositions and priorities across multiple platforms.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in corporate communications, public relations or government affairs.
• Deep understanding of reputational dynamics and geo‑political sensitivities in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
• Ability to shape external narratives, build influential relationships and advise senior executives.
• Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
