Director of Event Booking Center

About the role

The Director of the Event Booking Center leads the segmented sales effort across multiple hotel properties, driving revenue growth and building long‑term customer relationships. Reporting to senior management, this role combines strategic planning with hands‑on sales execution to meet and exceed booking targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement aggressive sales strategies for segments such as group, transient, association, and corporate.
• Collaborate with property sales leaders to ensure alignment and effective execution of the regional sales plan.
• Lead a team of sales professionals, set personal booking goals, and recommend booking targets for direct reports.
• Participate in sales calls, generate proposals, draft contracts, and manage customer correspondence.
• Analyze market data and sales system reports to drive revenue and catering objectives.
• Support Revenue Management with accurate six‑period financial projections.
• Monitor guest satisfaction results and identify areas for service improvement.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management plus 4 years sales experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields plus 2 years sales experience.
• Proven track record in sales and marketing within the hospitality or event‑booking sector.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a sales team.
