Facility Project Specialist – 2 Year Contract

About the role

The Facility Project Specialist will lead the planning, procurement and construction phases of large‑scale commercial, retail and hotel projects. You will act as the main liaison between government authorities, consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with government authorities, consultants, contractors and internal departments throughout procurement and construction.
• Develop and review overall construction strategy, including phasing, logistics, safety, quality control and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors, Controllers and Architects to create and monitor cost plans, ensuring budget compliance.
• Prepare, monitor and update construction schedules aligned with master plans.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project management, master project, scheduling and cost plans.
• Define procurement strategies considering time, cost, design, quality standards, resources and local requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in building studies, surveying, construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience on large‑scale commercial/retail/hotel projects.
• Proven leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills across all organisational levels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Independent decision‑making and familiarity with local statutory requirements, building codes and submission procedures.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
