Finance Manager (FP&A, GL & Project Costing)

About the role

Veolia Hong Kong Holding Limited, part of the Veolia Group, is looking for a Finance Manager based in Quarry Bay. The role is highly hands-on, covering general ledger and data management, financial control and reporting, project cost control, cash flow management and compliance, as well as budgeting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the General Ledger and raw financial data, run complex reconciliations and ensure data integrity
• Maintain the books, project accounting records and ledger balances, drive month-end closing and prepare monthly variance reports against budgeted CAPEX and OPEX
• Monitor project expenditure, track contract variations, review subcontractor payments and audit heavy equipment and plant procurement spending
• Supervise daily treasury functions, manage project invoicing and prepare cash flow forecasts with AP and AR aging analysis
• Ensure transactions comply with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and group controls, and coordinate auditors and tax advisors
• Lead annual budgets, quarterly rolling forecasts and long-term financial models for site operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Qualified member of a recognised professional accounting body (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia)
• At least 8-10 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in FP&A, preferably in environmental services, waste management, construction, joint ventures or heavy utility/engineering projects
• Strong command of written and spoken Chinese, Cantonese and English
• Immediate availability preferred

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of general accounting principles, project costing and Hong Kong tax regulations
• Hands-on GL management and complex data analysis
• Familiarity with major ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Advanced MS Excel for financial modelling; YYNC experience is an advantage
