Part-time Dental Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support our dental team in delivering high-quality oral care. In this role you will help ensure smooth clinic operations, assist clinicians during procedures and contribute to a welcoming environment for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists during treatments by handing instruments, materials and equipment promptly.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records and managing inventory.
• Greet patients, answer their questions and provide a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
• Collaborate with the dental team to uphold high standards of patient care.

Required profile

• Certificate or diploma in dental assisting or a related field.
• Experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain professionalism.
• Basic understanding of dental terminology and procedures.

Required skills

• Familiarity with dental software (e.g., patient management systems).
