Principal – Primary & Secondary School

About the role

Forest House Waldorf School seeks an experienced Principal to lead both its primary and secondary programmes from July 2026. The school, founded in 2016, is a non‑profit Waldorf institution registered with Hong Kong’s Education Bureau and recognised internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visionary educational and organisational leadership across primary and secondary levels.
• Develop and adapt the Waldorf curriculum to the local cultural context.
• Lead strategic planning, enrolment growth, and long‑term school development in partnership with the School Management Committee.
• Ensure compliance with Education Bureau regulations and statutory requirements.
• Mentor and support teachers, fostering a collaborative professional culture.
• Promote holistic student development—physical, emotional, and spiritual.
• Build a strong, inclusive community among students, staff, parents, and the wider Waldorf network.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, admissions, and prudent financial management.

Required profile

• Significant experience in school leadership, preferably within Waldorf or alternative education settings.
• Deep understanding of Waldorf pedagogy and its implementation.
• Strong communication skills to engage teachers, families, and external partners.
• Commitment to holistic education and community building.
