Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Data Center

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the replacement of the entire MEP system within a data‑center refurbishment while the building remains operational. The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors and the client to ensure technical and performance targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Support MEP project planning, scheduling and execution for full system replacement.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractor and client to align technical and performance parameters.
• Interface with stakeholders at all project stages on MEP matters.
• Manage project budget, resources and timelines using designated software.
• Maintain project governance, compliance processes and systems.
• Handle permitting, statutory submissions and approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and coordination meetings to monitor design and construction progress.
• Prepare and present detailed plans, progress reports, risk assessments and execution plans.
• Prepare RFPs, tender documents, manage tender process and evaluate bids.
• Monitor project budget, value engineering and cost reporting with QS.
• Ensure client invoicing and financial monitoring through internal accounting systems.
• Identify new business opportunities with existing clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing MEP projects, preferably in data‑center or large‑scale refurbishment environments.
• Knowledge of design‑and‑build project delivery is a plus.
