Senior Quantity Surveyor – Private Sector

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management services for private‑sector construction projects. You will ensure cost control, quality objectives and client satisfaction while fostering a collaborative project environment.

Key responsibilities

• Project support and coordination – manage pre‑contract and post‑contract cost activities, including estimating, rate analysis, cost planning, tendering, procurement and change control.
• Governance & reporting – produce monthly post‑contract cost reports, support client presentations, contribute to value‑engineering exercises and improve cost‑management procedures.
• Knowledge management – capture lessons learned and input key information into Turner & Townsend’s internal database.
• Team collaboration – work effectively within the cost‑management team, taking responsibility for quantity surveying deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost management or construction projects.
• Chartership in MHKIS preferred.
• Native‑level Cantonese and business‑level English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Cost‑X or equivalent cost estimation software.
