VP / AVP Credit Analyst – Corporate Banking

About the role

The client is a well‑established European bank with a strong presence across Asia‑Pacific. As a VP/AVP Credit Analyst you will lead independent credit assessments and support sound decision‑making for corporate and institutional clients within the bank’s corporate banking portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed credit analysis on corporate and institutional clients, reviewing financial statements, cash‑flow projections and industry risks.
• Prepare and review credit applications, annual reviews and transaction assessments.
• Monitor portfolio quality, identify emerging credit risks and support stress‑testing and risk‑reporting exercises.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and business teams to structure credit facilities and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Present credit recommendations to relevant credit committees and participate in portfolio reviews.
• Support regional transactions involving syndicated loans, trade finance, treasury and structured financing products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of credit analysis experience in corporate banking, commercial banking or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment and lending principles.
• Experience managing large corporate, multinational or institutional client portfolios.
• Understanding of banking regulatory and risk‑management standards.
• Fluent in English; additional Asian language capability is advantageous.
