Account Manager

About the role

Adyen is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support its ambitious growth across the APAC region. You will act as the primary point of contact for large enterprise merchants, helping them optimise their payments strategy and expand their relationship with Adyen.

Key responsibilities

• Own the success and satisfaction of assigned merchants, ensuring they achieve their business objectives.
• Drive revenue growth by increasing share of wallet, cross‑selling and upselling additional Adyen solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder contacts across multiple industries.
• Continuously assess merchant needs, provide expert guidance, and deliver insights that shape their payments roadmap.
• Coordinate internal projects and collaborate with global teams to deliver seamless merchant experiences.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience managing enterprise‑level clients in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven track record of winning share‑of‑wallet, cross‑selling and upselling deals for digital and retail clients (e‑commerce, gaming, streaming, OTA, etc.).
• Strong project‑management capabilities, able to orchestrate complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
• High‑energy, self‑starter with a commercial mindset and entrepreneurial drive.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multicultural, global teams.
• Professional proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
