Accountant – Financial Operations & Reporting

About the role

DP World is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations for assigned business units. The role covers intercompany transactions, accounts receivable and payable, fixed assets, accruals, and month‑end closing, while supporting management reporting, budgeting, and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting duties including intercompany, AR, AP, fixed assets, accruals, and month‑end close.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses for senior review.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement collection follow‑up procedures.
• Support audit, tax, and statutory filing processes in line with group and accounting standards.
• Participate actively in system integration and enhancement projects.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks and projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, organized, proactive and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
