Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will lead the risk assessment process, develop the annual audit plan and oversee its execution across the group. This senior position requires strong analytical abilities, a solid audit background, and the capacity to work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead risk assessment and design the annual audit plan and work schedule.
• Plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audit assignments.
• Perform internal control testing, document results, and identify improvement areas.
• Review policies and procedures, recommending amendments where needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure timely completion of audit tasks.
• Identify control weaknesses and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Prepare detailed internal audit reports and monitor follow‑up actions.
• Handle ad‑hoc audit requests from the Group’s CMCC.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accountancy, Finance, Auditing, Marketing, DICT or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in internal or external audit.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry or large enterprise groups is preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent are advantageous.
• Experience auditing construction projects is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).
