Accounting Officer

About the role

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking an Accounting Officer to support its finance team. This fixed‑term position involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks for both accounts receivable and payable, contributing to month‑end closing, and providing general financial support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions for accounts receivable and payable, including data entry, billing, and invoice/voucher processing.
• Assist in month‑end closing activities and prepare supporting schedules.
• Provide financial support to the finance team in routine operations.
• Undertake additional general duties as assigned by the Authority.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Approximately three years of experience in finance, accounting or auditing, preferably in a multinational or large organisation.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
