Analog Designer – New Graduate

About the role

Join the core R&D team at Monolithic Power Systems to design and develop cutting‑edge power management integrated circuits. As a fresh graduate you will work through the full product lifecycle, from transistor‑level design to silicon bring‑up, under senior mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Define product specifications and select appropriate semiconductor process nodes.
• Design analog and mixed‑signal circuits from transistor level up to system level.
• Perform circuit simulation, logic verification and develop test methodologies.
• Supervise and verify physical layout to ensure electrical rule compliance.
• Debug, characterize and evaluate silicon after tape‑out.
• Support test engineers with test program development and assist product engineers for product release.
• Propose innovative circuit concepts and contribute to application notes, data sheets and demo boards.

Required profile

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics (fresh graduate).
• Strong foundation in analog/digital circuit theory, semiconductor physics and IC design flows.
• Familiarity with power‑management topologies, control schemes, stability analysis and compensation techniques.
• Ability to solve well‑defined problems and select optimal solutions.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Good time‑management and ability to meet deadlines under supervision.
