Android Developer – Build AI Neobank Mobile Experience

About the role

We are looking for an Android Engineer to create and ship the native Android experience for BJAK’s AI‑powered neobank app. You will work on end‑to‑end mobile features that millions of users rely on for onboarding, payments, transfers and rewards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards and AI‑assisted journeys.
• Transform complex financial flows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI engineers to move features from idea to production.
• Own app quality, including performance, crash rate, loading states, edge‑case handling and release stability.
• Use production feedback, analytics and user behaviour to iterate and improve features post‑launch.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling and financial workflows with a focus on reliability.

Required profile

• Strong native Android experience using Kotlin.
• Proven track record shipping Android apps used by real users.
• Comfortable debugging production issues and improving performance, reliability and overall app quality.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast‑moving startup environment without compromising standards.
